英语写作之简单句的优化

　　一、使用高级词汇

　　1.动词的形象化

　　Thank you for spending the time with me.(sharing)

　　2.词组代替单词

　　Suddenly I had a good idea.(came up with)

　　3.“洋味”单词

　　Let’s go somewhere other than your favorite place or mine. (fave)

　　如果将以上三个句子中划横线的单词换成后面括号中的单词或短语的话，首先增加字数不说，而且还能让句子看起来高大上多了。

　　二、添加修饰成分

　　1.形容词和副词

　　“Perhaps we need to send for Dr, Smith to see what we can do about it,” Father suggested tentatively to his neighbor who had come to discuss the problem.

　　2.名词短语，介词短语

　　The boy ran away.

　　The naughty boy, my cousin, ran away.

　　The naughty boy ran away without turning off the water.

　　加上划横线的句子可以让句子意思更加具体，完整。

　　三、选用语法结构

　　1.with复合结构

　　1)The teacher took a book and came into the classroom.

　　2)The teacher came in with a book in his hand.

　　2. 分词短语

　　1)The party will be held in the garden, if the weather permits.

　　2)The party will be held in the garden, weather permitting.

　　以上的第一个句子换成第二个句子的结构，如果用得正确，考官会觉得考生的英文功底很扎实，自然高分就来了。

　　四、转换句型模式

　　1.强调句型

　　It is in this way that we usually exchange ideas.

　　2.倒装句型

　　Only in this way can we improve oral English greatly.

　　3.感叹句型

　　The way is gelivable. → What a gelivable way!

　　4.其他句型

　　When we practice, we feel more and more confident. →

　　1)The more we practice, the more confident we feel.

　　2)Practice more and you will feel more confident.
